TAX BENEFIT

The technology of the supplier from Apeldoorn has recently been recognised by the Maatlat Duurzame Veehouderij (MDV) of the Milieukeur Foundation. This is a certification system for sustainable livestock samples, with points of attention such as ammonia and particulate emissions, fire safety and energy consumption. When livestock farmers meet certain standards, they may qualify for tax breaks.

To meet the standards of these themes, they must score points. One hundred points are required for the fine dust standard of the MDV. With the installation of ionization lamps in their barn, livestock farmers would already earn thirty. Depending on the size of the barn, the investment is between € 7,500 and € 10,000.
